Who wishes they can drink alcohol?

I never really had any interest in alcohol at all, but recently I've been noticing wine. I feel like wine is the only one I think I'd enjoy. That shit looks gorgeous and looks like it tastes amazing. If it were halal, I'd definitely go to wine classes, learn about them, go to wine tasting events/ parties, become a wine connoisseur, and have my own collection :rejoice::rejoice::rejoice:

Disclaimer: I don't have any intentions to actually drink ok :stopit:

If any drug was halal I would try LSD, DMT AND MUSHROOMS. I always wanted to know what they see.

Alcholol and weed dont intrest me cause it easy to imagine how it is but what intrigues me are those drugs.

I'd never drink anything fermented and mind altering even in my dreams. Also, non-alcoholic wine exists. Still not interested though.

I once knew an Abdi (friend of a friend) who said he was a novice Sommlier. I knew that was not French for Somali. He proceeded to tell me he enjoyed some Chardonnay. I thought there must have been a middle-aged cadaan woman trapped inside him. He seemed attractive, physically fit and health conscious but that killed his image to me.

Tried it all in my younger years. Beer, wine, tequila, vodka, ciders, whiskey, scotch... I'm actually a strange sort in that I like the taste of alcohol itself so I preferred spirits. My general review? Not worth it. Destroying your liver long-term, gaining excess visceral fat, deranging your overall health, sometimes blacking out and getting into potentially dangerous situations and all for what? Momentary pleasure or escape from the woes of life? Momentary pleasures are never worth it, walaashay. Not alcohol, not weed, not hard drugs, not p*rn, not gambling... none of it. Stick to the long-term pleasures that take work and pay back in dividends. Lifting weights; hobbies like dancing, martial arts, pottery-making, cooking and carpentry; building up your career or a business... instant gratification is one of man's greatest enemies. Many a man or woman could be great if they managed to defeat that age old enemy.

Beer smells rancid- I used to work at some event venue in high school and still can’t forget that awful smell. I don’t know how they drink it, cadaan men love their beer.
wine does seem classy but it also kind of stinks too, :tacky:
maybe it’s the smell of fermentation i don’t like.

I always get invited to after dinner drinks by my non-muslim colleagues and I just end up overdosing on lemonade because I can't drink.:damn:
I used to have periods where I really wanted to try drugs and alcohol but alhamdullilah I don't regret not trying.

I've never been near any type of alcohol or anything fermented. How does it smell? :ohhh: Beer looks gross to me:holeup: I' only curious about wine cuz I really like high quality fruit juice (tho I barely drink it :mjcry:) and it kind of reminds be about one but with a richer and deeper flavor

Don't worry. I'm not interested in any of that shit you listed above. I was only curious about wine cuz it reminds we of a richer/ deeper flavor of high quality fruit juice. Plus I would really like to pick up flower arranging as a hobby and take a class on it. But alas, it needs money~~~~ Looks like I won't be able to pick it up for a couple of years. Plus my mother is so strict that there is no such things as a hobby at home, only shaqo :wow: One of the reasons I can't wait for marriage is freedom. I could pick up hobbies, go to yoga, go to brunch, take trips, and have halal fun :rejoice:
