Who will replace Isaias Afwerki?

Education is not administered in Tigrinya (unless you live in a Tigrinya majority area). Elementary schools administer education in the local language. From high school onwards, everything is in English
Tigrinya is often the main official language used by the govt and the state media

Tigrinya is the most spoken language in Eritrea. No shit. It’s the lingua franca. That being said, all documents, news reports and anything else that is disseminated to the whole population is made available in Tigrinya, Arabic and English

Most of the EPLF founders were Tigre Muslims. Warra Kebessa dominated party that is. You clearly have an agenda here mate. By the time the EPLF was founded, half of the ELF was Christian
In March 1970, another faction, primarily composed of Christian highlanders, split off and set out for the Ala area in the eastern part of the highlands of Eritrea. They established the Eritrean Freedom Party (Selfi Natsinet Ertra) through a conference carried out in Tekhli between 13 to15 August 1971. The meeting elected a five-man10 leadership led by Isaias Afwerki, the former political commissar of Zone Five and member of the General Command. The name of the splinter group was later changed into the Popular Liberation Forces (PLF-II). Due to the prevailing ethnic, religious and regional schism, some Tigrinya-speaking Christian fighters, such as Mesfin Hagos who received military training in Syria in 1967-68, abandoned PLF-I and joined the Christian dominated PLF-II.

Throughout the 1970s and 1980s, the EPLF was led by the secret Eritrean People’s Revolutionary Party (EPRP), chaired by Isaias and strongly influenced by Maoist political currents. Founded in 1971, the EPRP defined the EPLF from its earliest days. It ran a cadre school that trained organizers who convened thrice-weekly political education sessions for all EPLF members. It met in secret to draft the EPLF’s program prior to its congresses and to select slates for leadership prior to elections. Its central committee doubled as the EPLF’s political bureau, positioning the party to run the front on a day-to-day basis. Party members who broke the rules were punished mercilessly and then suddenly rehabilitated, as was the practice in China, where Isaias received military and political training at the height of the Cultural Revolution in 1968–1969.

The regime promotes Tigrinya knowing well that Arabic is another widely spoken language among the muslim communities.

Tigre is more widely spoken than Arabic and it’s speakers are mostly Muslim. If the government was promoting a language (which they don’t as I have repeatedly reiterated that all state media and government broadcasts have Arabic alternatives) why should they promote a third rate language?

I know your schtick. In your mind, if the Eritrean govt doesn’t try to Arabize the population, then they are somehow anti-Muslim

Ripped straight of Wikipedia. PLF 1 and 2 were the same organisation. Were PLF 1 members also anti-Muslim for splitting from Jebha? The “factions” were just different fronts that the PLF was fighting on. People want to be close to home. What Afar wants to be fighting around Tsorona and what Tigrinya wants to be fighting around Assab when they could both be close to home. It also makes recruitment either.

If Afwerki hated Muslims so much, why would PLF 1 and PLF 2 merge alongside Obel to form Shabia? If he hated Muslims so much, why would he make the chairman of PLF 2 the Minister for Foreign Affairs in the PFDJ Gov?

No one is running a newspaper website from inside Eritrea so you are obviously talking about Tigre in Sudan. No wonder they are in Arabic

It's an Arabic word meaning front as the eqivlant one in Tigrinya is Gnbar ግንባር although the main name of ELF in that language doesn't have that in it.
