The Chinese do not have the same ethics as the West. It's a win at all costs mentality among each other and towards the West. Once we reach herd immunity either thru vaccine or previous infection, covid-19 will become a seasonal flu that'll exibit a marked seasonal increase typically during the Winter. Just like the Spanish flu, covid-19 will never go away due to the virus ability to mutate but after we reach herd immunity, it's seasonal increase won't be as widespread and deadly since our body already has immunity to the virus.
