Who is the dark horse Presidential candidate?

This is Dr Abdinur Mohamed, a University Professor from Ohio who has also worked for the Ohio Department of Education as a Senior Director. He was the former Minister of Education in Somalia and seems like someone that has the track record to keep the country moving in the right direction. I'm a supporter of the incumbent President H.E Mohamed Farmaajo, however if Dr Abdinur was to win I would also be confident in his ability to keep us on this current trajectory.

In this speech he mentions that he was able to earn his Masters and PhD in the United States by receiving a scholarship from the Somali Republic and wants to pay back his dues. Many other current Somali leaders have also benefited from this scholarship such as the former Puntland leader Abdiweli Gaas. Once the Somali government gets a full recovery we will once again become a beacon of progress for the African continent.

so far I only know of two previous presidents, kheyre and AAS. Out of all the heavyweight candidates, I would give the best chance to Kheyre as he was good at his job and less controversial

Is his clan known? Does he have a chance to win with the new election model. President Farmajo is the best candidate right now, but we want to know. Is there a chance?

I understand your stance, of all the xaraash qaran candidates such as shiekh sharif, hsm and aas I would also give the nod to Kheyre since he hasn't been as controversial as those individuals and doesn't have as much baggage as them either. I have to say though I've heard some concerning things about Kheyre's dealings in Kenya and having the FM of Kenya Monica Juma's husband as his advisor. Have you heard of this?

I'm not sure about his clan and the trajectory Somalia is headed in it won't be a necessary factor heading forward. The current electoral model is different from the previous one in two ways, one being that instead of the mps being picked from a singular location, it has been changed to two locations within each FMS as well as doubling the eergo's picking the mps. This will allow a wide range of candidates to run.

I don't think he has a chance to win since much of the analysts that I've come across believe that the incumbent President H.E Mohamed Farmaajo is favorited highly to win reelection. I picked this candidate to start the conversation on new faces running in this election.

The man is Xawadle, but since we all know Somalia is based on 4.5 and Xawadle have 7 mps I very much doubt they will be elected as President unless they manage to convince other clans for their electoral support.

He seems to be pro federalism candidate but then he mentioned how he will let the public vote if they will keep it or not. Major red flag right there.
