England summers are mostly rainy and about 18-22 degrees anyway. There's no need for A/C except for just a week or two.

True but this summer seems to be different for the British. It hasn't rained in like a week which is like a miracle.

kkkk AC kulaha. AC is not that necessary in UK as AJ said (summer is only 1 month) , this
is not Dubai. Mechanical fans are life savers in Africa as well, I take a small one in my bag
with me everywhere even in the small villages .

Western Europe has colder summers than North America. You really don't need airconditioning or even a fan. It's mostly 20C throughout the summer.

Also, in many cities in Europe you don't need a car if you live in the central area. Everything is within walking distance.
