Real gold is very expensive ($1511 per ounce). Why not instead collect silver ($18 per ounce) coins, better price and less risky to lose money on.

@Apollo you a know more then me. A guy was showing me his coins today. Once he show me the Somali coin. It got me interested.It used to be more expensive than gold, but apparently now gold is more expensive just looked up prices.

I like how they look.I used to be into precious metals, but I lost interest in it because according to some wise market gurus I follow it is in a multi-decade bear market. Maybe in the late 2020s (2028, 2029 etc) I might consider buying precious metals for an upswing like what happenebed between 2000 and 2011 in the metals markets.

Yeah, mainly that. Not really interested in the collector's item aspect of it.
They are mass produced by mints. People usually trust mints from national governments (like the US, Canadian, Australian mint) over private mints.
