Yh maybe
But its easier for me cos i was reer miyi for first 6 yrs of my life

Compared to that hargeisa in 2018 is paradise

I did get seriously ill tho but alhamdullilah all bless now

Im loving this place right now tbh. Its just amazing seeing a city that was bombed to the ground rebuilding itself

The people are what make it. The worse thing is the roads and lack of infrustracture but that will get better with time. People need to be patient and remember where they were only couple decades ago. Imagine the progress in another 20 yrs

What do you eat for breakfast?

Do you take the mini bus or you act Royal and drive?

Are you planning to getting married there?

I cnt even drive ak but soon inshallah
I walk a lot and get lifts. And mix with everyone aswell

The smart thing to do when you come back is to assimilate and not be a show off or aloof. Basically dnt stand out.

Being reer miyi and speaking the language obviously helped me. But i think the biggest mistake youngers who back make is they dnt or can't assimilate. You have to wear what people wear. Talk like dem walk like dem etc

U have to have geeljire mentality with modern twist and be realistic. I prepped myseld mentally. Most people just expect to live hw they was living abroad

Brekky is mostly laxoox and shah

You are down to earth and smart. I think being exposed to the culture in your impressionable years helped you big time. It is easy to be nomad again once you go back to the same culture.

You are lucky to be among Somalis all day everyday brother. Some of us dream about going through that experience again. It must be healing for the mind that never accepted the fake life of the west.

Trus me bro if u wna have fun in hargeisa u can. Hargeisa is lit and i havent even seen all the best spots yet
But it depends what ur expecting.

I didnt really come here for that tho
I just do what the people do. I like to keep it simple

There a trend of qurbajoog influencing the youth with their bad dhaqan which aint cool tbh. Fine do all ur madness elsewhere but dont bring that shit to ur people. Certain man dnt understand that but i cnt really judge anyone cos i was instilled with that from the get go. Some people are not

You will make tons of money Inshallah and Allah will bless your business venture once you get started. Don't give up your dreams and be nice to everyone you meet there. Treat everyone as a potential friend in town. You already have the businessman's personality Rageedi :)

And nice to meet you.

So far are you kicking it with locals or you found fellow diasporans?

Have you been to Zultan?

Do you find the Gazelles there attractive?

Awesome, good that you are living back home. Do you experience power outages at all there man?

It's not necessary for him to answer you cause as I write this response to you the dude is in the dark because it has passed midnight in the Horn of Africa and therefore the allocated electricity time ( they ration it. In that hell-hole ) has expired. When he is going to the restroom he'll use a flashlight or hopefully the moon is bright tonight.

Ohh horrible Africa! Horrible !

Let me listen to this song Only if you idiots knew the lyrics of this song, it is so precise abt the cursed continent

Police in Sweden are warning the public to avoid answering calls from unknown foreign numbers after apparent telephone scammers from Somalia targeted Swedish phones. A host of suspicious calls from numbers starting with the country code +252 were reported to the police.
@TekNiKo have you been trolling the Swedish people :siilaanyolaugh:
its not confirmed that the callers are from somalia lol. people these days know how to fake location

they actually said the calls were traced to mauritius
