I don't know about Qaloon but Warsh is pretty easy. The difference between Hafs and Warsh is not that big honestly.
I frequently listen to Warsh reciters so I can easily memorize it. Reciters like: AbdulMutalib Ashura (Algerian) he's my favorite sheikh right now.

I memorized the Quran in Riwayt Hafs an Asim and I've been frequently listening to Warsh recitations... The difference is noticable but not that big.

If I'm going to study a riwaya apart from 'Hafs an 'Aasim it'll probably be Ad-Duuri 'an Abii 'Amr. The recitation the somalis used to recite in back in the days, and in fact most of the Muslim world. It was the equivalent of Hafs in our time, even Bukhaari used that riwaaya in his Saheeh.

Or maybe Shu'bah 'an 'Aasim. The difference is minimal to Hafs and could be learnt within a month or less I reckon. Thinking of maybe giving it a try.
