When you see our Leaders Fighting over Aid, while Poor Somali people are dying it hurts, what hurts more is that this can be stopped, We have the Land, We have the farms, we can grow enough food for people and animals/livestock,

We have the Rivers and we can Drill for wells.

Somalia is facing the worst Drought EVER, in 2011 the drought & famine was blamed because of 3 failed rain seasons.

The Drought today is going on its 6th failed rain seasons, Somali's cannot rely on Rain water anymore, we need Program that aggressivly digs wells and investment into Desalination plants.

It all comes down to Mis-Management, NGO's, UN, Somali officials, im not saying anyone is perfect but alot of the issues is because the Money and Aid doesnt reach the Actual people.

Aid rarely reaches the people that need it most.

Our Lands are tough and can be brought back from desert to forests with just the right land and water management.

Blaming politicians is easy but the problem is a deep cultural decay, we are going through a complete societal collapse, only a tiny fraction of the population genuinely care about meaningful change.

People don't understand the countless obstacles you go through just to dig a well, my own abti who runs such a business had his rig attacked countless times and according to him the worst places to dig wells are areas not inhabited by shabab.

It's not just soldiers or militia's interfering with you but also the general populace, this happens all across Somalia, you have to be prepared to murder people on a massive scale just to get anything meaningful done, because the moment you kill a tuug, his whole tribe will come for you.

The condition of these people will not change until they change themselves, the problem starts from the bottom not the top, the top is just a reflection of the rot at the bottom.

I would actually argue that those at the top are better than the masses at the bottom that I have seen all over Somalia, and that itself is a mercy.

What an incredible documentary, and what a resilient people. I'd be lying if I said my eyes didn't well up with tears a few times. I pray that Allah eases their suffering, and as AL-RAHMAN, he has already delivered rain. We do not praise our women enough since their resilience was truly the highlight of this documentary. May Allah grant Hinda success and make her a beacon of success in the Horn of Africa that benefits all those in need.
Allah is AL-CAADIL (The Just). Justice may not be rendered to these politicians in this dunya, but by my Lord, I know that on the Day of Judgment, we shall all be suing one other for a gram's worth of good deed, and there will be NO intercessor. Allah will bring justice to the unjust and avaricious as promised in his words in the Holy Quran.

No matter how many clouds are stolen, how many camels are stolen, how many rivers dry up, everything and every nicma is within Allah's power and only HE can provide, so I urge you all to pray to your lord and understand that he truly can do anything for you and our people if you sincerely pray to him. So, please, my brothers and sisters, make a genuine prayer to Allah to relieve our terrible suffering from greedy politicians all the way to our suffering sisters like Hinda.
