I know the plane is faster but I heard you can get around in Europe in a train and it's cheaper.

Yes you can take train . One way is around 50 euros . With retour is around 100 euros

It's exaggerated. 14 million live in its metro area. Of course you will hear crazy stories from there daily, but then again 14 million people. More people than Sweden in its entirety.

Nothing really, just found it boring, nothing to see on the way I guess. Btw are you going from London to Amsterdam or the other way? Because if you are going from London then probably the train because Heathrow is a mess, never seen such a long lines. It’s like all of India is traveling, the amount of south Asians you will see will make you feel like you are in Mumbai India

If you book in advance you can easily find flights from A'dam to London for around 20 EUR. Flying in Europe with Easyjet or Ryanair will 9 times out of 10 be cheaper than taking the train!
