2023 IDP population vs 2014 total population.
Bosaso: 469,566 (2014 population)/125,269 (2023 IDP population): 26.7% of population is IDP
Banadir: 1,650,227 (2014 population)/1,347,075 (2023 IDP population): 81.6% of population is IDP!!!
This is a rough calculation to show just how IDP dominated Banadir has become in the past 9 years. Even if you were to account for non-IDP population growth, more than 50% of Banadir's population is now IDP.

I don’t buy D&M being 1.3 million in Mogadishu it doesn’t seem possible to me as someone who knows the city well. Mudulood + Habargidir + Mursade are 2 million alone in xamar. Neither banaadir state will never happen because the capital needs to be not apart of a state.
Xamar is basically like Washington DC it’s own thing but not recognized as a state and also surrounded by other regions.

Of the 1,532,703 IDPs that arrived in Banadir between 2016 and 2023, 75% came from Koonfur Galbeed.
Hawiye dominance over Banadir will be coming under serious challenge if Banadir Regional Admin is ever democratized. If D&M form a party, like the old HDM, they could sweep most seats as Hawiye are divided.

How far the mighty Darood have fallen. They are betting on miskeen eelay to checkmate Hawiye as they could not do it themselves. Again D&M is not larger than Hawiye in Mogadishu. The numbers are just not there. What your doing is hoping Hawiye is divided but what you fail to understand is that If there is a threat, hawiye would rather ally than let a outside clan beat us politically or even militarily as we saw in 1992 when the daroods tried sneak attack xamar and a divided USC reunited just to kick ass.
Hawiye in Mogadishu are permanent residents who are even increasing in number every year. I have family members moving to xamar in droves per year from the Miyi. Your acting as if the growth is one sided

Same way Daroods and other Somalis collectively group hawiye as one we do it the same for others. Don’t take it personal I do the same with Isaaq. I don’t differentiate between other tribes and their clans
isaaq are dir, no darood users mentions hawiye as frequently yall kind mention darood, it's hard to group hawiye together as they only are hg,abgaal

Has the cuqdad you have for Hawiye really convinced you IDPs who are not even in the city by choice but as a means to survive will come together, form a party and sweep more seats than the already political, economically and militarily dominant clan of the city?
There’s a new Xaafad in Yaaqshid near Shirkada Cococola callled Buulo Shiiq that didn’t even exist 5 years ago. Today it’s grown (and it’s still growing) into a massive Xaafad the size of Juungal, and every single soul in the Xaafad are Agoonyar gaabane, forget other Abgaal or Hawiye
