It is a diverse country. They have Copts who look like regular Egyptians in Sudan and also the Rashaida tribe who look like regular Saudis. As well as Sudanese Arabs who tend towards those groups.

yes some sudanese people do look arab. but most of the sudanese people i've met were just brown or light brown
i've even met some dark skinned north sudanese people.
