I do not think that Obbo Mustafa really feels this way, but he is doing it to stay out of trouble with Abiy and his allies. He doesn't wanna be where Abdi Illey is, and since our Somali brethren are divided along clan lines, [we Oromo's have our problems too], it makes things easier for the Amhara ultra-nationalists to make a resurgence.
Oromo’s coonery is what keeping and empowering abyssinia/amxara. If Somalis were 40m and were all under Abyssinia then yes I would’ve agreed. Anyway what do u think abiy’s future plan for Ethiopia is??
And do u think Oromo’s and axmara will ever clash?? When they do who do u think will win??
What you have to understand is, the oromo are more integrated into ethiopia, than somalis, so we have many oromo's who still believe in an united, but federal ethiopia, where everybody rules themselves. You have many who believe in outright independence, but let's be honest, the super powers of the world would not like to see their christian ally, their ally against ''Islamism in the Horn,'' disintegrate.
