What's your worst dugsi quran experience?

I realize now that my Macalin during my sentence was an exceptional man who mastered the art of combining mentorship, abuse and teaching. Ngl I'm still baffled at how he pulled it off, may Allah preserve him

bullshit when i did dugsi i was told to lie on my stomach and i would get a thrashing on my ass. wlhi kenyan private schools are guantanamo bay for children authubillah, it made me stronger mentally but i will never forget those ass beatings, there was a teacher who bruised me for speaking somali (not allowed to speak mothertongue at school) even though I was speaking english in an american accent,
Still, it was always so satisfying to be the only one not getting beaten in class while everyone else gets it :hemad:

thing is somali dugsi's are crazy in their own right, they don't know how to hurt without injuring, one of my dugsi teachers broke my finger. Kenyan teachers on the other hand know what their doing they maximize pain, borderline excruciating. When I got my first bamboo stick on the ass I almost couldn't breathe, never cried tho cause I was always able to separate my emotions from pain. plus a 6'0 14 year old crying wouldn't look pretty, especially with all the voice cracks I had

Tied up my arms to a ceiling so I couldn’t defend myself and then he beat me with a wooden stick

The dugsi I went to was taught by a great teacher who was Pakistani grandma. She was a great teacher and treaded us all equally. Plus, her cooking was amazing. She show to much love and dedication as a teacher.

Then her daughter took over. She obviously didn't have any interest in teaching and was there for the extra coin. She always single out or pick on me and the other black student.

She stop providing food, it was difficult to get a break or go toilet. She made it hell for all of us.

This dugsi that was running for decades closed less then a year after she took over. It didn’t help is the that since it was a white area. It wss only dugsi in the locally.
