Culturally alcohol has very little taboo associated with it. So parents drink heavily and don't stop their kids. It's just part of every day life. I think something like 60 percent of high school students admit to binge drinking.

Why Somalis drink is beyond me. My mom told me she'd murder me if I let the thought get into my head. Hoyos be fucking up out here.

I can tolerate weed and weed smokers even if I will never try it. Alcohol I will never accept.
