Okay I will drop you guys a golden nugget of Wisdom
The key to becoming rich as told by a mentor I have who used to be a Investment Banker back in somalia is Networking if your a social guy and good with words all you have to do is go to places where rich people hang around, blend in with them, socialise and connect with them and just be a fun person to talk to and from there one of them will be like "Hey I got a friend in real estate...etc. etc." and from there it keeps snowballing and you meet new people that have various skillsets that you can benefit from and climb the ranks with also the guy who told me this used to rub shoulders with very influential and rich people in somalia(name almost any somali ones and this guy probably met them/ had a cigar with them :francis:) and around the entire world and he showed me pictures he took with rich looking people from around the world as well just to prove he knows what he is talking about, Anyways networking is key and its what really makes you money and divides the wealthy from the poor, One of the things he told me Poor people see networking as "Socialising" while the Rich see networking as Investing so to sum it Up.
Networking➡️Access to Skills➡️Knowledge➡️Value➡️Money➡️Networking
and the cycle repeats infinitely and you can choose to build as much wealth as you please through this you just need to take the first step no matter where you are and what position you are in.

Warya, I dont know suspicious of this mentor of yours, but if his results have bourne out, then, I cant say anything.

But I do agree with your overall point and have learned it the hard way myself. Networking is a big part of the puzzle and many understimate it or discount it entirely.

Introverted or not, you would be leaving a lot of potential on the table in neglecting to build a network.

Yeah thats the key thing I learned also I dont know if I can call him my mentor 😂 this old guy hangs around at the somali cafe I used to work at and sometimes he would talk to me and drop some knowledge here and there and I would just listen 🤷‍♂️

How interesting, one of my first jobs (~2014) was also a Somali internet cafe, that also had a cafe on the other end of it. 😂

There were many adeers that would just hang there drinking tea, waiting for their next cab costumer. Agreed, I used to come across many interesting characters there too, Somali/non-Somali. Pitty that line of work fell through.

Glad to hear you found worth while wisdom from there.
