what's the one thing you miss the most from somalia (for those of y'all who've been there b4)?

The weird and wackiness of some people back home. The funny nicknames that are so funny to you but other people don’t flinch at. The bluntness of people that aren’t afraid to say it like it is with no hesitation. The easygoing banter. God do I miss how easygoing the people were. Gaals all (some literally) have a stick up their ass. Greedy, sickening people walaahi.

I miss how everyone was somewhat related to me. It felt like a big family

Walking in land that my ancestors fought for and I own outright is a feeling you will never forget.

Everything you see is yours and ours. It is magical!

Going with the boys to play soccer in the field after Dugsi.... man I miss that. Good times. We had to jump over this bigass fence, shit was tall as hell and the fall was pretty hard, but it was worth it.

Me and some of my uncles and cousins would do walks around the city during Ramadan nights as well, stop buy a meheered or a restaurant and get some shaax or food, watch some soccer. It may not sound fun but I liked it.
