I think you're forgetting his forces are spread around all over lower juba, including kismaayo, jamaame, dhooblay and afmadoow, and to a smaller degree, baardheere. If Madoobe's militias are 5k or more as claimed by Teeri, then he should go for the offensive and capture Buale; it's a difficult task but his survival as leader of Jubaland depends on it.
Why he isn't moving then?! The guy is a sitting duck waiting to be slaughtered. SNA obviously wants to encircle him from Sh/Hoose and Gedo. Things are moving at fast pace and the guy isn't observant enough it seems .I think you're forgetting his forces are spread around all over lower juba, including kismaayo, jamaame, dhooblay and afmadoow, and to a smaller degree, baardheere.
If he moves to Bu'aale without strategy, something has to give, he has to sacrifice one of those regions to secure buaale which I think he should do since that's what will decide who wins and who loses.
then he can always deal with shabab in other regions later.
He's going to have to now.Why he isn't moving then?! The guy is a sitting duck waiting to be slaughtered. SNA obviously wants to encircle him from Sh/Hoose and Gedo. Things are moving at fast pace and the guy isn't observant enough it seems .
Also, I am beginning to suspect this janan guy, and how easily he folds, given all the soldiers he has.
Janan didn't fold, he actually held his ground yesterday, his militias didn't retreat or move an inch from their defensive positions. He's going to have to now.
I dont think he's got another choice.
Also, I am beginning to suspect this janan guy, and how easily he folds, given all the soldiers he has.
So Buale is the endgame for the Jubbaland campaign right? As soon as it's gone al-shabaab will be gone too?People think Buale is easy to capture there is thousands of Al shabab soldiers and locals that support them just like Jilib so it is difficult.
Al Shabab still control most of south central Somalia. From Harardhere, El Bur, El Dhere all the way to Hiran and Sh/Dhexe, AS militias firmly control those regions. So Buale is the endgame for the Jubbaland campaign right? As soon as it's gone al-shabaab will be gone too?
I mean they have no where else to run, SL and PL have their own forces that deter any on coming shabaab visitors while GM was just liberated from a militia and is now in government hands with SNA troops station there.
Hoping the SNA finish them off before they have a chance to escape to either Hirshabelle or SW.
i see, thanksAl Shabab still control most of south central Somalia. From Harardhere, El Bur, El Dhere all the way to Hiran and Sh/Dhexe, AS militias firmly control those regions.
Don't let the recent skirmishes with ASWJ distract you from the big picture.
I am not buying it.Janan didn't fold, he actually held his ground yesterday, his militias didn't retreat or move an inch from their defensive positions.

I can't confirm the authenticity of that number but the port revenue obviously funds the salary of his militias. Kenya helps too.Who funds his 5k army ?
Why do you support the Kenyan govt and their vision for Somalia over the Somali govt, Somali people and country?I can't confirm the authenticity of that number but the port revenue obviously funds the salary of his militias. Kenya helps too.
