Iceland is basically Denmark located near the Arctic? No Inuits live there, mainly Norse descendants with Scandinavian culture. Their political system is a Social Democracy and they have been capitalist during the cold war. I don't see what makes them outliers?

As for East Germany, it is basically like Poland/Czechia socioeconomically/developmentally but it speaks German. It is still quite different from the rest of Germany. East Germans also vote different from West Germans and their culture is very different (more traditional) and it hasn't been affected by multiculturalism much.

They are still part of EU rules for some time. Main point of that list of countries was to show that it is mainly England and some West EU countries that are euroskeptic.
