This isn't any specific groups tradition it's just the average circus acts tradition and both amison and Al shabbab are a bunch of clowns so it makes sense why they would be doing it because that's part of the job description and al shabbab has a bunch of bantus and other types of ajnabis in it aswell
bantus are not ajanib and also al shabaab only has bantu footsoldiers but they have no say there and sometimes are forced, its a through and through a lamagodle organization

They recruit bantus from all over East africa in places like Kenya so yes they are ajnabis depending on the individual in question
When you said bantu I assumed you're talking about the wagosha, shiidle etc who live in Somalia. Some will be ajanib but the vast majority are just the somali bantu who are mass recruited into the khawarij.
