Wasn't too long ago Paris was viewed as this beautiful, romantic place. I was there briefly once, felt like i was in Africa for streets on end.

That's how I felt when I first came to London 12 years ago. It was a huge downgrade compared to the streets of Helsinki.

People eating on the streets and then throwing it on the floor was a culture shock for me.
