Do you know the difference between a Empire and a Nation ?
There is no Empires in Europe the last one was the United Kingdom, their empire crumbled decades ago, but their nation is still standing.

The only Empires i can think of now would probably be America, China, and Russia

What kind of Bible stories have you been reading? Most of the large Egyptian pyramids were built centuries before Babylon. Egypt was older, larger and more important than Babylon throughout history.
