Walahay i dont understand how it can take so long to ratify a written constitution, should have taken two days maximum preferably 30 mins, Instead we have waited since 2012 which is 8 years now, Who is preventing this, Which groups, and what type of agenda are they pushing on the constitution?

They don't want to give legitimacy to Puntland since the constitution gives us a lot of power and function like an autonomous state.
Ok then Im all for hindering the constitution, federalism is truly a threat to the survival of Somalia, federal regions working with foreign actors should not be threated with glove hands

Basically some federal member states won't compromise on certain topics nor will the fgs. Some fms are not fully united yet and some are under some terrorist rule. While at the mean time Somaliland is playing kurdistan.

They want to gain control of as many FGS member states as possible so they can push through their agenda of centralization.
We have draft constitution and a committee tasked with finalizing it, however it is actually the parliament that are blocking it. They were actually planning to hold open debates about it before the Covid-19 epidemic.
