I would only need sons to continue my lineage, I would still ask God to give me sons for that reason constantly in my prayers. Either way, I would be content with what my Lord decrees for me and take care of my daughters with pleasure because some people won’t even have daughters forget about sons. The rewards of taking care of daughters surpass those of sons.

It's not being uncivilised you fool. If people don't have any financial barriers, they will naturally have more kids. The main reason why the majority of westerners have less kids than, say Africans is because of finances.

A prime example is Israel where the gov has incentivised having lot's of children. It's illegal for employers in Israel to sack new mothers, they also have extended paid maternal leaves and a range of other benefits that are designed to encourage people to have more children. That way Israeli women don't have to postpone starting a family like they do in many western countries, which leads to a low brith rate.

I'm not criticizing those uneducated people from 3rd world countries. It's unacceptable for a person who had access to education and living in the west to have 8 children.
