I am planning to sink wells in the future. What would you do to give back to your gobol?

Water is a precious material in Somalia.

A lot

Loyal she began, loyal she remains.

And I too.

I've always wondered how a country with the longest coastline in Africa has so many people dying of thirst, we need a seawater desalination plant but no country or company would invest in that because it's of no benefit to them.

It costs only $40 million. Not that much.

$40M :gucciwhat: That's great if the population of Somalia is 10,000 people saxib, closer to $100M for a plant to supply a whole gobol and that's not even including the distribution and maintenance costs, which will be A LOT because of the poor infrastructure. Wouldn't even be surprised if we need bomb-proof pipes because of al shabab and their fuckeries

Am I the only one who doesnt think of any place as my gobol? I cant think of one part of the country I'd feel particularly loyal to

acouple of friends of mine, myself included already working a plan for desalination plant prolly in puntland/sanaag region. it will cost $32 million to build a 2.5 MGD seawater desalination plant. It'll produce around 20million gallons of fresh water daily.. The only problem we are facing is the Goverment Obviously, and the fact this project will take alot of "Juice" we don't wanna rely on ethopia dam..... got about 12 friends in on it, alihamdullah they see the potential like i do in somalia.
