The gold is in the eastern HY mountains. Plus Warsans are Puntlanders so it is up to them if they want to join a future Sanaag state. I am not like pathetic neighboring Sland region I won't beg Daroods to join then get scammed like what happened in Badhan.

Look at cerrigabo and lots of places in sanaag also. I’ve never heard outside of the civil war, any real caadow hostility between HY,dhullo, and Warsans.

Those 3 could probably make a successful state if their smart about it.

That would be the worst potential state by demographics. Dhulos can’t even agree with another dhulo why would anyone want to share a state with people who burn their imams?

I can understand Warsangeli as they are more united but Dhulos have too many conflicting interests within their population, they need a reconciliation among themselves first.
