Nicknames tend to give away some hidden meaning of the persona behind it.
Mine is simple: it is a family nickname usually given to someone with a hard-nosed, deterministic, if practical personality type.

Let us carry out some pseudo personalyses whilst we await iftar (those of us in N America, and suhur for those on Medina time zone), shall we?

Literally no attachment between myself and my username I just randomly choose it. I believe I was looking at spears/glavies/tridents and other weapons on the day I made this account and just went with javelin as my username. The meaning is self explanatory.

I enjoy horse riding and archery. Never done jousting neither have I ever been interested in it and they use a lance not a javelin. I actually was however deciding between lance or javelin at the very end tho.

I used to like archery, as a young lad, but have not had much exposure to horse riding. Jousting is a fun sport, if rather dangerous.

Colours:
Personality is split into three: where someone is in h(er)is i) natural habitat, ii) social environment, and iii) under threat, or pressure, and how someone performs under each is said to reflect h(er)is personality, and each is then associated with a colour.

Yellow: An outgoing person, say a marketing director, a salesperson etc.
Red: Someone with a head for numbers, and data, say an engineer, mathematician, a physicist etc.
Blue: Facts driven person, say a solicitor, barrister etc.
Green: With compassion, say an environmentalist, social worker etc.

There is more to it, and I am simplifying it for brevity, but you get the gist of it.
