Have you listen to insider of USC on Hanoolaato YT channel. That stuff was eye opening. The guy is pretty honest and told it like it was although he was the chief of staff for Ceydiid.
Ali Mahdi appears to be the aggressor from listening to the people that were there.
How you gonna attempt to be the President when you didn’t even fight Baree.
At the same time Ceydiid was hell-bent in grabbing power. He disregarded the survival of the nation. He was selfish. He was short sighted. He made sure Somalia went down the abyss.
At that point Somalia disintegrated into qabiil rebel movements. That sealed the future of Somalia.
Only if the rebels have gotten together to construct a path to governing once they deposed Barre but that ain’t in our DNA specially if we have possession of heavy weapons. Each rebel movement was “I will rule or no one else”.
That was the mentality that sunked Somalia to the bottom of hell.
