What to do in Hargeisa on vacation?

Im in Djibouti right now. There's plenty of things to do here. In Djibouti City I'd suggest you check out the downtown, souk, and some of the luxury hotels like Sheraton and Kempinski hotel.
Also outside the city you should go to Doraleh beach, Goda mountains, and Lake Asal which is the lowest point in Africa.
The only issue is that it is hot af here. Im constantly trying to wipe the sweat off my face as I'm typing this.

I think ill go in october to Djibouti when ive seen Hargeisa, hope its colder then i really cant stand alot of heat

Indeed. Borama is much cooler place and even colder than Hargeisa. I was there last year with my Land Cruiser.

I could suggest some secret to-do list that are fun but it depends whether you are lander or not.
About shopping, Hargeisa is metropolitan city you could find anything available in the west but steep prices since everything is imported.
eating out shouldnt be problem, theres different restaurants and cafes that cater to middle class and diasporas most notably maansoor, ambassador, summertime, sultan, cafe barbera etc. again all pricea are western.
since you are visiting you could try the local experience by shopping, eating local stuff and ride the bus for good doze of epic qaldaan banter.
You are lucky because you might be travelling when the biggest modern theatre in horn africa in hargeisa is finished. theres prolly ruwaayado and night shows pipelined
