I was recommended a YouTube video about a dying Somali craft but I can't remember what it was called.
To those more educated in this topic, can you lists some cultural practices and crafts that have died or on the verge of death?

Not every cultural practice will survive but I was more responding to some of the outrageous points made by some of the posters. Someone even claimed that we have no cultural practices left and that cadaans have more of a culture than us. This is preposterous.
There are too many customs and practices still intact for me to list and I would recomend for people to visit back home, whether its Somalia, Djibouti, Somali Galbeed or NFD.
All we need is our language, culture is just dances and practices that formed for many thousand of years. As long as we have our language its cool. We have Islam too. Let us make a new better culture that aligns more with Islam. The cultural practices most of those we had were rooted in paganism. Let us make an authentic sunnah a cultural practice. Quran memorization, going to dugsi and modesty is actually a cultural trait of ours. There are no ethnic group who do the same, turks dont, kurds dont, for the most part levantines dont.
New cultural practice
1. Jilbab, Niqab, modesty
2. Quran memorization, quran and sunnah understanding
3. Being Islamically literate, Islam promotes being learned, literate, read, write. So let us be a nation of readers and writers both somali and arabic. I forgot to elaborate on this but so many Italian and arabic loan words can be replaced by words in Somali we already have, lets do that.
4. Soft segregating and I have elaborated on this before but it is to protect the identity of our minority ethnic groups, giving them equal Islamic status, abolish the 4.5 system, teaching their languages in school and respecting them. This ensures pride in them and that pride leads to everyone prefering to protect their identity. This is called soft segregation, hard is what we have, so we go from hard to soft. This doesnt mean two people of two different ethnicities cannot marry, we can never split two lovers. So the point is to protect and preserve the identity of everyone within our borders, to protect each and everyones phenotype.
5. Now we have a clean somali language with minimal borrowed foreign words and we have our look preserved and our faith. What more can we ask for? None and its guaranteed almost that your decendent in 3000 years from now will be a Muslim cause we made our religion our culture. We made the sunnah our culture. They speak the same somali we speak and they look like we do.
6. Being healthy, we need to change our cultural food to more healthy food. Same food but different types of ingredients.
We change the basmati rice to whole grain brown rice, we change the cooking oil to better oil like rapseed that contains omega 3 fat. The moos will stay.

Lol Somalis have already been doing everything in that list besides the language & healthy foods bit. Somali culture now is so completely unrecognizable compared to a century ago that it's hard to even think we were the same people as the Massai lookalikes that were our great grandparents.

While Masaai and other hutus living in their huts I want Somalis to domestically produce semiconductors with under 6nm. We need our tech to rival TSMC and colonize the moon and mars. This where the rest of the world is at. While we living in the Neolithic period.
