Our beloved Somalia will soon be taken foreigners. We have no border control points, zero idetification system basically a free land that u can access as u need. Ironically we've a whole wing in the Mogadishu Airport dedicated & only accessed by UN & its personnel. They don't follow any standard immigration process, nobody can dire control them as the useful idiot Somali leaders got into a binding contract which they barely understood any of its terms.we’re being colonised
The people in Somalia are lazy & very proud as such will never do any blue-collar job. They rather import workers from Kenya as they sip their tea at a local Shaah joint while debating about politics. Ultimately, end month make calls to diaspora relatives to send money. The amount of jobs available in Somalia is shocking but a sad reality people are not ready pick up.Wlh how they can come & take up jobs from jobless people![]()

Absolutely to develop Somalia it needs the people to put in the work & not run away to other countries where folks have worked their ass off to develop.Backwards people
Don't you get paid double for driving your track during public holiday? My two nephews called me the other day to take them to their favorite Somali barber. I know the dude. I am aware that the guy is asking for $60 a cut. They are totally packed today because it’s the weekend of the Eid.
Therefore I have improvised. I am taking them to a madoow that has no idea about Eid (for just $30…ever since the pandemic the Haircut price has risen tremendously ).
so how much would’ve been if it was normal times ?

Nah walal unlike SL the shop is owned by somalis, same with the ethiopian restaurants here. They get paid a fixed salary and return once they saved enough. They are only here because their skills are more in demand in somalia
Their skills aren't in demand; they're cheap and taking jobs from locals because there is no immigration law that keeps them in check.
Customers love going to them because they are professionals and always consistent. Somalis open a shop only be consistent for the first year and act like you need their shitty services. The pact places I know are all run by ethiopians like the restaurants, barbers, saloons and coffee shops.
f*ck the locals imo, competition is healthy and customer always wins at the end. We also need more competition in fintech and energy to deal with monopoly like harmuud and electricity/gas companies
