Now I don’t personally agree with adoption, where people adopt children from another continent stripping him/her from their roots and religion. It is wrong in my eyes. I would never want a somali kid to be raised by non somali people. Its unfortunate that sometimes happens to us and other africans.

So many african adoptees have gone back to search their roots and it has been exposed, that many of the adopted childrens mothers were tricked to give their children to adoption agencies. Also many african were/are abused by their adopted parents, which is why Ethiopia banned adoption to foreign people.

Same in Finland. This was like 19 - 20 years ago this teacher's daughter was in the same school as us. She was from Thailand and looked fully Thai. Probably adopted the kid or married a Thai woman and she became his stepdaughter.
