Only loons or deceitful people actually believe the US wants to overthrow Abiy and put back in TPLF. Abiy was a Western love child ever since he took power. They just want the end of the civil war and a negotiated resolution, I would say they’ve been extraordinarily restrained during this conflict.

As for farmaajo, his just too much trouble & causing too much conflict with member states & losing focus on al shabab which should be priority . I don’t know why people think western governments have personal favourites like we do here, they seek stability over all else.
