Caasha Cabdoow in Somalia and Bi Malika in Kenya and Tanzania.
This song is in Kiswahili.
It is called Taarab style which is common along many coastal communities in East Africa.
Caasha's overall style is Banaadiri style.

Fadumo Qaassim Hilowle and Caasha have a very similar style.
Yes, I'd say still banaadiri style.
Taarab (slow, mellow, usually with a troupe/chorus) is what non-Somali coastal people call the style.

thanks , I like Taarab music but I don’t think it’s popular with young ppl nowadays but it’s very similar to banadiri music
Taraab is purely coastal swahili. I listen sometimes and I listen to all Soomaali songs to get a picture of the culture and literature.

The melody is the same but the language is different.
