I dont know about jigjiga but in Garowe and Hargeisa abaya and hijab is a must even for ajnabi. You will see all the ajnabi ngo women employees wearing it. there is lots of xabashi in jigjiga so i think she can wear anything that isnt like crazy attention grabbing.

Went to Jijiga this past summer, plenty of ajnabis. She'll be fine.

Well yeah unfortunately. Traditionally we’re not like that, we are 100% less misogynistic, but things back home are let’s just say not the greatest. Didn’t you see the video of the two Western girls who were hijabis but wearing trousers? Half of the guys in the area were following them.

Go watch the somaliland tourist on youtube. Her white friend wasnt wearing anything special and was fine.

She should wear her usual clothes in a modest style, non-Muslim women should avoid mimicking the look of hijab-wearing Muslim women. It goes against the purpose of hijab.
