Mine is almost identical except he was extremely violent and aggressive. I used to avoid being around him and struggled with feel insecure for most of my life.

I have trust issues with men as a result.

He was quiet man. Assertive, straight-forward and strict but with a teddy bear heart. He was a great listener that would be by your side at every step of a problem. A great son, father, husband and brother that always put family first. Even though he spent his last years in a weak state due to failure of a major organ and various other conditions, he always provided whatever he could, may it be financial, emotional or spiritual help.

I could go on and on about my father...AUN

I went through a phase of associating all men as like my dad but I know hes a rare kind. Hes different now that I am all grown up but I guess it doesn't mean much when he's unapologetic in his wrongdoings.
