What is your own interpretations of "THE SOUL"

In ISLAM, Quran clearly states ALLAH SWT purposely withheld knowledge of the soul and the mechanics of it. We know when we die, our souls go into a chamber of storage. But there is no details as what the soul is or how it works.

But we know certain things
The soul is massive..bigger than this entire globe.
No pleasure or torture can kill it and it will be the recipient of the hereafter
Souls are familiarized with each other in the previous existence and that affinity takes hold in this life no matter how far two people may be
The soul is the biggest proof against atheists. They can put everything back together by stitching the parts together. No matter how hard they try however , they can never ever put the soul back into the human being.
The soul becomes clean or dirty depending on the person. Evil people have a metaphysical stench coming from their souls while good people have a pleasing fragrance. The angels angels and righteous people can pick up on this stench

So fear Allah as much as you are able and listen and obey and spend [in the way of Allah ]; it is better for your selves. And whoever is protected from the stinginess of his soul - it is those who will be the successful.

I know a hadith where prophet Muhammad pbuh was talking about his daughter and another woman getting along. The prophet pbuh said these two souls new each other in another existence.

But I dont know about souls smelling other souls stenches. That is new to me loooool
