What is your ideal wedding?

I don't like entertaining these ideas because then I'd have expectations, life seems more lively when you don't know how you'll end up in marriage.
But for the sake of the thread, Im not against the whole somali midi electro music but I'd prefer live renditions of Somali music from the age when it reached its pinnacle.
As for the mehr, if it passes 1.5k I ain't marrying her, I know people who got married with 70 pounds in their pocket at the time and they are married up until now, jacayl shouldn't be tied to material things.

no wedding is my ideal wedding. life-long celibacy is the plan- but i might sacrifice that since marriage is half the deen. quite the conundrum.
However, if i were to get married for the sake of Allah then my mehr would be for him to recite surah Yaseen and the ceremony would just be a small nikkah. no huge party/celebration.

-No meher money as I don't believe in it.
-A traditional Somali wedding with somali clothing and music. Nothing foreign. Hopefully my wedding can take place in xamar cadey

I would like my nikkah to be held at a Masjid Inshallah and my family will provide lunch for the people at the masjid,
and I will rent a Hall for the ladies ONLY so that they can do their Buraanbur and other things etc.
Idk about the vacation part, its gonna be up to my wife and what she is comfortable with..
As for Meher, I don't mind paying 8k-10k but I will do my best to find a wife that isn't tied up on materialistic things so she wouldn't ask for that..

Why ladies only wedding? Its your wedding as well you should be able to invite your male friends and she should be able to invite her male friends too.

I wouldn't want anyone to attend to be honest. I would want to get married at sunset, and once it's done, the person who married us would be asked to leave.
There would be a large lavish glamping tent with great amenities. There would be a generator so we have electricity, and a fridge packed with ingredients so I could cook us delicious food. We would eat dinner, make love, then watch the starry sky and fall asleep to the cool breeze. Ideally 3 days and nights of ecstasy would be spent here.

Nope my wedding will be segregated, I am a Conservative Muslim...
The women will have their separate venue where they can dance and what not..
In addition thats how my cousin, brother, Uncles, Father had it and I do not intend on breaking that cycle..

Alot of goofy betas put out there best effort to impress his new wife and it ends up costing them arm and a leg, you have to give her the crumbs in the beginning so that means taking her out to a simple restaurant, but idiots instead give her the whole cake and risk going bankrupt.
If u keep giving ur new wife the crumbs for too long, she'll get used to it and once in a while u impress her by taking her out to Starbucks.

I am sure most men would like this but problem is some women are conditioned to compete with each other and they treat wedding day as a test of their value and self worth.
I don't have an ideal wedding that is what women think about not men I will my wife choose how the wedding will be
I hate weddings. No weddings for me. If he really wants it ( I know a lot of guys who do) , then we are eloping.
