I used to drink a heavy amount of coffee with a lot of sugar, but I noticed it would cause me to have an erratic heart rate. The reason I used to drink this amount of coffee was to use it as a study aid. If I had a day or even a week without any coffee, I would be sleepy, or I would feel not having the energy. I never believed in the notion of a smart pill, but I had a friend who used to pop Ritalin to study for mad focus; my form of cheap, accessible form of Ritalin was caffeine and sugar, but I found an alternative that I tried one semester. It was made with mushrooms, and yes, it was FDA-approved. Before all of this, I had spoken to my doctor, and he did some research into this product. I told him about my excessive amount of coffee and sugar consumption to gain the ability to stay focused for 8 hours. He basically laughed at me and said that it was cheap Ritalin, but I got approved to try these mushroom pills. So I started to take them, but they did not kick in until the 4th day. Once they started to work, I've never felt this clearness and focus mindset. Now, for that whole semester, I felt anything was possible, and I stuck to my calendar and even got a week ahead in all my classes. The crazy thing is I felt as if time moved a whole different while on this stuff. For instance, remember, as a kid, you felt as if the day was long as shit. Once I had gotten off of it, I didn't have any withdrawal effect, but I gained a better attention span compared to before I even took it. My plan for this summer is to grow the mush that they had used to make these pills.
