I was listening to a twitter space, doing my university homework passing time listening to the twitter-space as a podcast. What I heard was shocking, my fellow HAG kissing Somalilander ass Subhanallah, except for one girl named Kholoud Yusuf, the others were all kissing ass, it got to a point where they said Somaliland should be its own country. No way, HAG will not be responsible for the unspeakable act of dividing the nation. If Shiekh Sharif refused to divide the country and Hassan Shiekh Mohamud refused and still refusing to divide the nation why are the common HAG people so willing to divide the country? It saddens me that my community is letting our sisters be arrested willy-nilly without due process, President Xaaf of Galmudug got arrested, and many HAG officials and social media people. I'll end it here don't believe in "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" it is a nonsense mentality that my people continue to fall for.

Nonsense, when the founder of this country Mudane Aden Abdullah Osman (AUN) became the nation's first president he did so for a united Somalia (North & South), he didn't have in mind to separate the country, neither did Shiekh Sharif & the ICU who were unionists, even HSM is a unionist even though I disagree with some of his policies he is a unionist. If you think any Somali president would dare to give Somaliland its recognition you are sorely misinformed it is never happening. Whichever president dares do that will face upheaval and be overthrown. HAG are unionists and will not be responsible for dividing the nation.
Aden Cadde or the SYL weren't actually in favor of a quick union between the Somaliland and Somalia as they told Somaliland delegates to wait for some months or years but reer Somaliland didn't want to wait and pressured their politicians to pass the Act of Union and go to Xamar without any condition to form a unified state of 2 of the 3 Somali territories.
Somaliland's union with Xamar was on the idea of Somaliweyn or Greater Somali nation since that idea didn't came true as the current Somalian govt recognizes kilinka and NFD being part of Ethiopia and Kenya respectfully with Djibouti being an independent nation then there's no reason for Hargeisa to stay in this failed union.
