Why are kids placed in a contest by looking too beautiful and attractive in a very young age? Kids aren’t supposed to be this attractive. It’s very bizarre how accepted it is. The contest of the clothes they’re wearing is too mature. This is insane.

Because the child probably looks promising to their mothers, who project what they wanted for themselves, steering their girl through a life that maximizes what they think is something they missed out on, and then wanting to vicariously live through that. The child is the extension of the mother, fashioning her ideal sense of her unmet self in the child.

The mother truly believes she is doing the child the biggest favor. To her, it elicits the momentum for the path to success in the aspects of looks. It's basically that woman's best idea of love, by giving her daughter what she wanted and believes is a worthwhile life. It's not limited to a child beauty pageant but a whole life path, starting from that.

i used to watch toddlers and tiara when a was a little kid even then i knew it was wrong fake teeth,spray tans, heaps of makeup yeahhhhh weird as hell. I don’t know how it is now but like 10 years ago that was all the craze.

As long as the judges are female I think that it's a good outlet for feminine fun. It really should be a women only hobby tbh.

If it’s private amongst women groups it’d be fine. Because it’s televised and people can see it. I don’t see the difference between this & child p*rn.
