If you don’t believe them then it’s lesser kufr and a major sin
your salah won't be accepted for 40 nights, isit really worth the risk ? what about if you die during those 40 nights

As muslims it is mandatory to believe only Allah has the knowledge of the unseen no
one or nothing else.
a psychic claims to have knowledge of the unseen so this psychic is literally saying it has the same knowledge as Allah.

But what I don’t get is Islam says psychics are real and are capable of these things using “black magic”,so How am I the one saying the person is comparable to God?

Its not your speech, its the intended action.
The psychic has compared himself to god by claiming to know the unseen.
Going to the psychic (even if you don't believe what he says) is aiding him indirectly because you are helping him propagate his deviance by following his commands and rules.

But my point is in Islam do they not acknowledge that these people have that ability?
Not that they are all knowing but they do possess the ability to have personal knowledge about you
Yeah sixir/fortunetelling is real islam acknowledges its real but strongly prohibits it since its shirk and goes against our fitrah + the fundamental core principle of islam which is tawheed.
Most of its lies mixed with some truth, the ability they get is because they communicate with jinn and your jinn, every person on earth has a jinn which is called qareen communicates with their jinn.
But the nature of jinns is too lie alot

Qareens are there to try misguide us, the whispers and inclination towards sins we get is from Qareen but they can only overpower if we constantly listen to it..
