There are four names for the word "pyramid" in the Somali language. When I was a child, we called a pyramid "yuub" because a pyramid waa wax kor u yuuban. However, the dictionary "Qamuuska Xisaabta" from 1972 has the words “Gunbur” and "Ahraam" for pyramid. Also, there is another word for "pyramid," which is "haram." Out of all these four words, I would choose the word that is easy to pronounce for kids because it will be easy to remember for every age.

Egyptian pyramid =
Yuubka Masar
Gunburka Masar
Haramka Masar. could be confused with xaramka.
Ahraamka Masar

You can use those word for shapes too.

Note: gunbur and yuub are authentic Somali words.

haram = pyramid

ahraam = pyramid

Ahraam= pyramid
Gunbur = pyramid.

yuub = pyramid
