To any af Maay Maay speakers out their is it true he's speaking a mix of the languages? Usually I wouldn't understand most of it but this was easy to understand

Bro I thought he was Majeerteen. I was conversing with him on a different thread about Puntland. He was showing mad love and appreciation to the people of Puntland. Dhulbahante don't like or support Puntland. Dhulbahante would rather be apart of Somaliland instead of Puntland.
I can't anymore with this person. How many times can you slip up and say something so stupid and still claim Somali :farmajoyaab:

You are most likely familiar with the Af Maay spoken by Rahanweyns in Rahanweyn lands. This is more of a purer version of Maay and therefore harder for average Maxaa tiri speaker to understand.

This Somali Bantu brother is speaking a Gosha dialect of Af Maay spoken in Gosha region of Jubbaland. It's more of softer version of Af Maay and has been influenced by Maxaa tiri neighbours. It's closer to Af Dhoobey spoken in places like Afgooye and Wanlaweyn.

Some people can be so ignorant. If you don't understand something and are ignorant to it just say you are ignorant.

No need to say that this isn't Somali. How can he say this is a alien language. SMH

I don't know who made this map. Probably a 10 years old by the looks of it. Some things are correct some are not.

First of all what is Banaadir dialect. Banaadif and Galgaduud/mudug Dialect isn't the same.

Also Digil dialects arent spoken that far Into Baay and Bakool. Also Af Maay isn't spoken in Garbahaarey.

Apart from that pretty accurate.

Let me correct you bro, the Gosha community a mix of Swahili and Zigula/Zigua languages. Due to their interaction with Maxaa Tiri and Maay neighbors, they pick up words and statements from them, but by and large their language is Zigula/Zigua and Swahili.

The Zigula or Zigua language, Chizigua, is a Bantu language of Tanzania and Somalia, where the Mushunguli (or Mushungulu) dialect is spoken.[3]

So what was said in the vid?

The brother was warning the Muslim Somali girls to cover their awrah. He warned them some men can use their camera to record their 'awrah when they're not fully covered. He used the Lamagoodle proverb "nin ku digey kuma dilin," meaning the man who warned you didn't hurt you. This is a good brother who loves his sisters and who wants to dress modestly.
