US/EU/Israel/Saudis/Turkey back the moderate rebels vs Assad backed by Iran/China/Russia/Cuba/NorthKorea.
US also supports Kurds, Turkey fights against the Kurds. Turkey supports rebels but at the same time cooperates with Russia.
US does the same.

Its a confusing war.
