What is Borama like?

How is the people, weather, living, cost of living and food?

I know someone who is going there for the first time and is unsure what to expect or what to budget, I’m curious too because I heard they have a good university there.

The weather is very nice on Borama. Probably my favourite Somali town in general tbh . Beautiful landscape

The weather is beautiful, there is no heat, and it has four rainy seasons. Yes, Amoud University is the best Somali university. The streets are bad, and security is very good as a Somali city.

Borama is my favorite city in Somaliland. Nice, cool weather, surrounded by gentle hills. Calm, friendly people. It’s greener than most SL cities since it rains a bit more in the west.

There’s a little doox on the outskirts of the city that I used to swim in when rainwater would pool up. Fun times.
