What if Siyaad Barre was still president

What would alternate Somalia look like today if Siyaad Barre crushed and ended the civil war. Adopted the osmanya script back in the 70's and got all the religious,clan elders and nationalists on his side and decided to not to invade the Ogaden but instead supports the Somali liberation front instead with money,arms and training.

It would have been a godless society. Compare the society back then to now. Alhamdulillah Somalis became more religious. Decades more of Siad and his "Islamic communism" you would see a secular society like those Arab nations
