Modern Egyptians are descend from the acinent ones, just simply arabized in language and culture however the blood remains.
Obviously no population for 2,000 years ago is the same as now, ancient Chinese are a little different from modern Chinese however they are still the same peoples.
I don't know why every one is so focused on the fact that modern Egyptians have some differences from their ancestors 4,000 years ago.

It’s not the modren Arab Egyptians but the Sa’idi Egyptians look them up , they still are the villagers of Egypt all along the Nile and the principal agrarians and keepers of the heritage
