what happened after i made my first million

i was always a spender, but around 2016, i made my first million dollar deal and guys i upgraded my lifestyle
and boy the impact. from first class travel to 5 star hotels, designer clothes, luxury cars and the whole shabang, never having to queue and constantly being waited upon. but the most remarkable occurrence was peoples attitude and behaviour towards me.
previously i had a normal life, mutual respect between me and friends and family, but there was a complete turnaround.
practically nobody was arguing or questioning me, everybody was agreeable and accomodating to all my requests. family and
friends were listening to my suggestions and advice as if they were coming from the mouth of a guru. the experience has left me
both sad and happy. happy on one side for the ample opportunities to influence both family and friends in the positive
( fortunately i have always had my head screwed on right) and saddened by the fact that in todays world money is the most determinant factor in peoples attitude towards a person.

From a scale of 1-10 10 being most fake, how fake has you’re family/friends become?

It gets like that sometimes.

I'm wondering about your experiences dealing with separating people that genuinely f*ck with you from those that pretend.

Stuff like that makes me wanna hide my money and look and dress humble just to bring out people's true colors.... When I touch minimum 6 figures

i cant say they have become fake its just the fact that they have become nearly totally unresisting to almost
all my suggestions, i mean they are kind of agreeable to most of them, although i find without the pressures of having to persuade most of my opinions have become more and more sensible, i still cant escape the feeling that it had to take money for them to see sense. luckily for me i was blessed with a sober family and generally god friends.
never used to tolerate fakenesss even before the money

i will let you in on a secret, money is an attitude formed in the mind before its actualized. i mean before i made
my first million i was okay, could afford that extra spending once in a while 5 star but i always used to act and feel
like a millionaire, it was like a deep belief that i was destined for it and not surprisingly when it happened i felt
like it was just a formality whose time had arrived,. i wasnt in anyway shaken by it. i found myself wearing it
effortlessly.

warya we don't need your mindset. We just need to know how you did it

thats exactly what i am saying it wasnt the fact that i was smarter than others, it was just the fact that i was
at the right place at the right time with right contacts, it was a government contract, big money are nearly always
made nowadays when a government is involved. but i cant help my incredible self belief and destiny attitude
had a hand. i generally found that because of my attitude of acting as if i was already there people were easily
drawn to me and willing to engage

Great thread. I can't relate to the millionaire (not yet anyway) part but I've made a substantial amount of money this year while in medical school and having no job thanks to Crypto. Alxamulilah, I have enough money to pay off all my student loans with one payment by the time I'll be done. However, I never told anyone besides anons about my newfounded wealth. I didn't feel a need to brag or change my behavior. I didn't even want to buy material things. I guess it's not apart of my nature. One question: Why did you feel the need to tell your family and friends that you're a millionaire? Surely you could have kept it a secret and helped them privately. Was it an ego thing?

I've heard the "right place at the right time" or "dumb luck" thing from a few guys, there's defiantly some merit to that.

note that i started my thread with that i was always a spender and add to that i always liked to share,
so for me it was an opportunity to extend my persona and i didnt have to tell them it was quite self evident.
but honestly speaking deep down although i dislike its moral implications i have always been attracted to
the power of money and the way you could softly enslave people with it
