So Ive been growing my hair for 5 1/2 months and I want the hair to be longer and hang down.. Getting hightop was a big mistake… Now Im thinking of cutting it all of a getting a low taper instead.

Anyways what current hairstyle are you rocking? Post pics of hairstyle if you want.

If you want to grow it out then grow it out in a natural way like the people back in the day. If you want to get a fade like some rapper then you might as well go bald.

Took Me a year to get it to this length and its annoying to maintain so I might cut it soon down to a level 2 on all sides.

Just do fades bro, cut the sides into 2 levels, get curls, you can cut the front and the upperlies short as well but dont go too far and dont do the fade too hight and you're all set.. thats my suggestion

Maintaining twists like this, it's just too laborious ima about to give up.. every time I shampoo my hair the twists disappear.. so now Im planning to shampoo them once a month.. and I put on a bonnet when taking shower.

That's why I made it my pfp. I look like that irl except less old looking with the same mustache and everything else. I even wear turbans/imamahs from time to time.

I was telling @Basra this a couple weeks ago when she asked me about the pfp but she didn't believe me which is understandable considering the lies said on here daily by our fellow faraxs and halimos.

As for your suggestion I don't do uneven haircuts or fades or anything out of the ordinary since uneven hair cuts are against the sunnah.

Bruh I'm an adult plus I only recently started growing my hair out this last year. If I tried when I was younger which I didn't even bother doing I would have been shut down aswell and it helps being the eldest child.

(Plus you got to be a smooth sweet talker otherwise nothing will get past them. Some of us got that gift others don't) 🤷

The environment that I was in also helped since I'm around good people and not saqaajaans and I personally did it to fulfil the sunnah of the prophet having his hair shoulder length. (zulfah)

now that I have fulfilled it I'm cutting it off.
